För alla hotmailanvändare där ute kommer nu en riktigt god nyhet från Microsoft. Hotmail kommer, lagom till måndag, att få stöd för Push till bland annat iPhone.
Ja det har alltså gått så långt att Hotmail nu kommer få stöd för Push. Tjänsten som Microsoft integrerar är Exchange ActiveSync och är alltså anledningen till att Push kommer in i bilden.
På iClarified kan vi läsa följande;
”Microsoft will enable Exchange ActiveSync for Hotmail users on Monday, giving them the ability to receive push email on devices such as the iPhone.
Microsoft’s Dharmesh Mehta told CNET that ActiveSync offers a more robust option than IMAP and, when combined with POP access, should give most Hotmail users the syncing capabilities they are looking for.”
