Det finns kreativa människor och så finns det väldigt kreativa människor. Gary Katz, skaparen av Personal Shoebox Apple Store har gjort det igen, den här gången var det dock hans trasiga iBook som fick komma väl till hands.
”Katz first removed all the computing components by hand then used a Dremel tool to remove anything sharp or would scratch the iPad’s screen. Then he added a soft liner inside the iBook shell and removed the Apple logo so the iPad’s screen can show through. Once you get this done, insert the iPad and you have a very sturdy case that will handle your iBaby with care. It’s not the most attractive case but if you have an old broken iBook sitting around collecting dust, it could be a good alternative.”
Gary Katz har alltså använt sig av fritid och tålamod för att framställa ett nytt sätt att skydda iPad på. Efter att höljet var det enda kvar av datorn tog han bort alla vassa kanter och vadderade insidan för bästa komfort åt iPad. Se videon nedan:
